Description

It’s no longer “business as usual” in healthcare.  The pandemic has disrupted the normal channels of care delivery, but the healthcare industry has also pivoted to meet the challenge.  Central to the effort to ensure that we’re still caring for our patients effectively has been the urgent and widespread adoption of Telehealth.  Through rapid and sweeping policy changes at the federal level, healthcare providers are now empowered to leverage telehealth to meet their patients where they are.

Patient intake processes need to change, too, in order to make telehealth delivery as effective as possible.  The clipboard and pen are no longer adequate to accomplish gathering information from our patients.  Major EMRs such as Meditech, Cerner and Epic offer some form of remote registration, but may not be flexible enough to meet every healthcare need.  Plus, healthcare organizations are often using one intake workflow for in-person visits, while using another process for telehealth visits. These changing and cobbled-together workflows can lessen satisfaction for both staff and patients.  Patient intake processes need to become digital and nimble as well.

Join us for a live panel discussion to gain insights and knowledge on the current state of Telehealth and Remote Patient Intake and how these technologies can continue to help your organization in the future.

This discussion will highlight current struggles, advancements, and opportunities in the areas of:

  • Telehealth and virtual care delivery
  • Zero-touch intake processes
  • Ways Telehealth and Remote Patient Intake technologies can improve care delivery in your organization
  • Advice on tactics and strategies that can help ensure success for your Telehealth program
  • Anticipation of “future state” in the post-pandemic world
