Interlace Health’s Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic

Interlace Health has maintained its full staff and moved to a 100% remote work environment during the pandemic. We created enhancements to our solutions and services to assist our clients during these challenging times.

Services

In March of 2020, Interlace Health announced it would be providing free support services to customers for setting up COVID-19 workflows.

To date, over 100,000 patients have been better served due to expanded deployment of Interlace Health’s registration workflows into new facilities and even drive through centers in the parking lots of hospitals.

These services have included:

  • Providing sample screening forms
  • Modification of existing registration packets to reflect COVID-19 information and fields
  • Expanded deployments to new care settings
  • Activation of mobile printers
  • Creation of forms that can be completed by the patient on their mobile device
  • Creation of multi-lingual screening and admission forms

Solutions

Remote Registration: Interlace Health has long provided technologies to facilitate data capture and electronic signature. Over the past three years, we have extended this capability to allow patients to complete registration tasks remotely, on their own devices. As our industry focus has shifted to meet Social Distancing standards and other recommendations, reducing in-person wait times through remote registration can help support keeping communities safe during the COVID-19 pandemic while ensuring hospitals and health systems still receive the patient information they need.

COVID-19 Specific Forms: Interlace Health is providing COVID-19 specific forms ,including screening tools as part of this solution, allowing patients to answer questions and provide data whether they are scheduling a telehealth visit, drive through visit, or in person visit in the facility. The implementation is optimized for creating a zero-touch registration (no pens, paper, or devices provided by the health system)

Request of Information: Patients requesting their records typically involves completing and signing a paper form at the healthcare facility. Given the desire of both patients and healthcare workers to eliminate this type of contact, Interlace Health has created a solution that delivers the forms in electronic format to the patient using a secure link. The appropriate information is pre-filled so the patient simply reviews the document then signs it electronically on a computer, tablet, or phone in their home.

Interlace Health is providing this solution at a greatly reduced price for both software licenses and services during the pandemic.
