Avera Health Expands Interlace Health Footprint with Electronic Informed Consent and Patient Intake Solution at 39 Locations
Avera serves South Dakota and surrounding areas of Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska and North Dakota through six regional centers in Aberdeen, Mitchell, Pierre, Sioux Falls and Yankton, SD, and Marshall, MN. They serve through 35 hospitals, 215 primary and specialty care clinics, 40 senior living facilities in addition to home care and hospice, sports and wellness facilities, home medical equipment outlets, and more.
In support of their Meditech Expanse deployment, current Interlace Health customer, Avera Health will be adding Interlace Health’s Electronic Informed Consent Solution and Patient Intake Solution.
Informed Consent by Interlace Health allows staff to gather an eSignature from the patient at the bedside or during an appointment, and make the form instantly available to the care team, anywhere, anytime, on phone, tablet or laptop. There’s zero risk of this form getting lost in the shuffle – ensuring compliance, patient safety, and efficiency.
With Interlace Health’s Patient Intake Solution, the generation of documents at registration that need to be signed will be automated by analyzing patient information sent from the registration system via an ADT or print stream connection. The registration forms are selected and grouped based on pre-defined logic and imprinted with patient-specific demographic information. The document is then sent to the electronic medical record or archiving system, along with the data necessary to place the document in the proper archive location. This reduces patient wait time and ensures a smooth registration process for staff and patients.
