Medical West Hospital Expands with Interlace Health Forms on Demand, eConsent, Digital Forms Library and Downtime Solutions

Medical West Hospital has proudly served the communities of West Jefferson County since 1964. Comprised of an acute care hospital with 17 health centers located throughout its market including Bessemer, Hueytown, Vance, Tannehill and Hoover, Medical West offers a wide range of diagnostic, surgical, medical and emergency services. These services include intensive care, women’s, telemetry, geriatric psychiatry, inpatient rehabilitation, sleep medicine, cardiac rehabilitation, and advanced wound care. Medical West has over 1,200 employees and more than 250 physicians on its medical staff. In 2015, Medical West became home to the state’s first Freestanding Emergency Department (FED). The FED and the hospital’s main campus emergency department, combined, see more than 75,000 visits annually.

Medical West has been using Check Printing. They will be expanding the solutions to clinics and hospital wide. The hospital will be introducing the use of Forms on Demand, eConsent, Downtime Solutions and Digital Forms Library to enhance their Meditech environment. This will help alleviate the pressure on staff and create a seamless process.
